We created this high-quality garden for this newly built villa on the waterfront of the picturesque Vliet. The villa garden is characterized by clean lines, a tranquil atmosphere, and a practical layout that invites comfortable outdoor living by the water. Custom canopy as a central living space

At the center of the garden stands a custom-made high-end canopy, which serves as the heart of outdoor living. This is where barbecue evenings, long summer nights, and intimate lounge moments take place—all under the shelter of atmospheric lighting and a stylish back wall of vertical ThermoWood slats. This fashionable wall brings a touch of interior style to the outdoors and forms a warm, architectural backdrop for the outdoor room.

Schellevis walkway with sightline

A 30-meter-long walkway made of trapezoidal Schellevis tiles elegantly leads to the waterfront. The rhythm of this unique paving emphasizes the clean lines of the design and creates depth and perspective. A modern jetty awaits at the water’s edge, constructed from sustainable Esthec decking material with integrated lighting. Here, the luxury sloop finds its home at the nautical jetty, complete with a robust stainless steel swimming ladder for refreshing dips in the clear canal.

Sustainable ceramic terraces

Sustainable ceramic terraces have been laid around the house using robust 1×1 meter tiles. Thanks to the use of Romfix street mortar in combination with drainage mortar, the paving is completely weed-free, frost-resistant, and resistant to subsidence—a sustainable investment in years of carefree gardening pleasure.

Atmospheric garden lighting and a good planting plan

The planting has been carefully coordinated with the lines and atmosphere of the garden. Sleek and organically shaped borders alternate, with multi-stemmed eye-catchers such as Quercus Ilex and Acer elegantly highlighted with subtle In-lite spotlights. The lighting plan is balanced down to the last detail and brings the garden to life in the evening with a warm, inviting ambiance.

Low-maintenance front yard and sturdy driveway

The front garden provides a stylish prologue to what is to come. Robust natural stone cobblestones are playfully interspersed with sleek Schellevis tiles and gravel surfaces, creating a harmonious entrance. The driveway has been expertly laid with split slabs that can easily withstand heavy traffic without compromising on aesthetics.
