In the wooded surroundings of Aerdenhout, tucked among majestic trees, Garden Vision created a masterpiece of serenity: a mystical woodland garden that stimulates the senses and nourishes the soul. This expertly landscaped villa garden combines the harmony of nature with thoughtful masterful craftsmanship.
The elegant thatched villa reflects in the picturesque pond adjacent to the terrace. The large organically shaped loam pond we constructed here is surrounded by a lush diversity of flora and fauna, with native plants that follow the seasons and provide an inviting habitat for dragonflies, croaking frogs, and singing birds. The water’s surface glistens in the soft, golden light of the autumn sun, while the breeze gently whispers through the leaves.
Around the house, footpaths of fine gravel meander past organic pruned clouds that merge effortlessly into the landscape. The paths are interspersed with flowering borders that offer something new in every season and alternately display their colourful splendour.
This woodland garden invites children to still play for real and imagine themselves as Robin Hood, with bow and arrow hidden behind the thick trees. But also plenty of space to relax and unwind in a spiritual atmosphere. For example, in the clearing with its soft turf, ideal for a yoga session. Or to simply enjoy the silence at the pond’s edge. Under the broad crown of an old oak tree is a cosy terrace, a perfect place to read or do homework, where fresh air clears the mind. Next door, the handmade wooden hot tub is ready to end the day with a relaxing bath. Overlooking a rural horse paddock. There, friendly ponies with foals graze peacefully. This idyllic scene offers a sense of tranquillity and connection with nature.
When dusk falls, the garden transforms into a magical scene. Discreet garden lighting reveals the outlines of the trees and shrubs, and the pond begins to glisten like a mystical mirror under the stars. The atmosphere changes, and the garden comes alive in a whole new way, inviting you to spend the last moments of the day in silence or in good company at the autumn table.
