The godsend for any interior and garden designer struggling with lack of space in designing indoor or outdoor wellness areas. When the Jacuzzi or plunge pool can then be concealed under a deck, which has the functionality of a patio, you have the best of both worlds. With this request, we went to work accurately!
Especially with a city garden or roof terrace, dividing the space is often a challenge. Architects are expected to design a functional layout in a limited area for the many wellness elements a luxury garden contains; swimming pool or swim spa , Jacuzzi with outdoor shower and sometimes another sauna or hammam. We encounter it all in the exclusive gardens we create. And then all processed as aesthetically as possible.
We were therefore delighted when we were able to showcase our innovation at the last spring trade fair for the latest home and garden trends ’24; an ‘electric removable jacuzzi deck’! Architects, gardeners and pool suppliers were therefore immediately enthusiastic. This is the solution to close a Jacuzzi, plunge pool or swim spa, aesthetically and functionally after use!
The insulated hatch keeps the water at a good temperature and clean. They create extra space for seating when the spa is not in use. The fourth benefit, and perhaps the most important, is the safe closure of the pool for children and/or pets.
The control column is keyed so that only authorised personnel can open or close the deck. The button should be held down during operation to ensure safe operation in addition to the emergency button. For an evening of wellness, open the beautiful electric deck at the push of a button after which you can relax in your luxurious jacuzzi. After bubbling, the solid deck can be immediately closed again.
We have been placing the luxurious Sundance Spas, of which we are also a dealer, in a sleek Esthec conversion on a durable Esthec patio decking. For us, it was a logical choice to also build the deck in the same functional material. Because this unique plastic board has no coefficient of expansion, is free of discolouration, splinter-free and slip-resistant even in wet condition. Last but not least, it is easy to clean. Esthec planks have a luxurious look and are available in up to nine different colours and two different widths.
In the application above on a high-end roof terrace in Amsterdam, we also combined the electric deck with an electric TV lift for an outdoor TV. We integrated the wine fridge next to the jacuzzi stairs in a natural stone surround. This is the ultimate in bathing in luxury!
